The Villages of Tomorrow Project is realized in cooperation with Trendyol and the United Nations Development Program with the aim of increasing employment, encouraging production, supporting rural development by preserving cultural values, and enabling technological opportunities in villages.
Digital hubs are established in the villages with the synergy created by Trendyol's technological competencies and the knowledge, experience, and resourcing power of the United Nations.
Development Program. Since the project's inception, the following digital hubs have been launched: Kürkçüler Digital Hub in Kürkçüler Village, Adana; Ulamış Digital Hub in Ulamış Village, İzmir; Taraklı Digital Hub in Taraklı District, Sakarya; Bağıvar Digital Hub in Bağıvar Village, Diyarbakır.
These hubs focus on comprehensive efforts, particularly targeting youth, women, and individuals with disabilities. The goal is to brand Anatolia's regional products to enable locally grown produce, handicrafts, and handmade goods to reach consumers directly from the villages.
The project aims to develop e-commerce opportunities and skills for regional agricultural, textile, and artisanal products to strengthen digital value chains in rural areas and accelerate inclusive growth.
The Villages of Tomorrow Project aims to market the villages globally with e-commerce and e-export, to support sustainable and technology-oriented production culture with smart agricultural models and smart agricultural practices, and to prepare our children for the digital world with workshops on coding and robotics.
